That frustration is exactly what led me to rethink how online conversations actually start. Not by doing more… but by becoming familiar first.
I’ve been building online audiences since 2015, but my background in technology goes back much further. In 1998, I co-founded a software company that grew to a $20 million valuation. I’ve spent decades building systems that simplify complex problems — and this one was no different.
Along the way, I realized something simple but powerful: people don’t respond because you’re persistent — they respond because they recognize you.
That insight is what led to the creation of a smarter way to connect on Facebook — one that tracks familiarity, removes guesswork, and turns everyday engagement into real conversations.
Outside of business, I’m most proud of being a husband to a wonderful wife, a father to four amazing daughters, and a grandfather to six energetic grandkids. We live in a century-old home on Prince Edward Island, and I’ve intentionally built my business around time freedom — so I can be present for the people who matter most.
